Each year, the Coach Foundation champions organizations that empower, educate and support women and children around the world, providing financial support to non-profits that demonstrate positive, measurable results in communities where Coach conducts business.

Enriched the Lives of Orphaned Children in China
The Coach Foundation's ongoing funding and Coach employee volunteerism helps Half the Sky in China ensure every orphaned child has a caring adult in their life and a chance at a bright future. In our third year supporting the organization’s Little Sisters Preschool Program, we enabled 68 teachers in ten schools to provide daily education and nurturing for 365 children in Chengdu, Chongqing, Harbin, Jinan, Nanning, Shenyang, Shijiazhuang, Xiamen, Xi’an and Zhengzhou.

Provided Students in Underserved Communities Access to Learning Materials
The Coach Foundation partners with to make donations to classrooms across North America for much-needed learning materials, school supplies, and tutoring. Last year, we matched more than 500 Coach Stores with teachers in their area, allowing employees in each store to create close personal relationships within their communities.

Supported Learning Opportunities for Young Women in NYC
Funds from the Coach Foundation and Coach employee volunteer efforts allowed the Young Women’s Leadership Network programs and affiliate TYWLS schools to achieve a 97% graduation rate, nearly 100% college acceptance, $21 million in financial aid awards, and an average of $18,000 in financial aid packages per admitted student.

Promoted Literacy and Empowered Girls in Vietnam
Improving the educational system is a top priority for the Vietnamese government. In 2014, the Coach Foundation granted Room to Read enough funds to establish six school libraries, publish 12 local language children’s books, support 127 girls in the Girls’ Education Program, and provide reading and writing instruction in 54 classes in 10 schools.

Changed the Lives of Low-Income High-Achieving Students
Coach Foundation, Scholars Academy Saturdays (SAS) is part of the NJ SEEDS Scholars Program. Students attend Saturday classes throughout the year and participate in retreats and workshops, as well as prepare for the private high school placement exam, visit selective schools and complete their applications. These students earn the opportunity to attend high performing schools, allowing them increased exposure and access to notable colleges.

Created Supportive Communities and Encouraged Students to Stay in School
Coach Foundation funding allowed Communities in Schools in Jacksonville to expand their services to six high schools, providing tutoring to at-risk students. As a result, 89% of students improved their overall reading grade, 71% by an entire grade level, with 87% of the students promoted to the next grade. Ken Sanders – VP, Distribution and Wholesale Customer Service, North America and Europe, recently joined the Communities in Schools Jacksonville Board.
